The history of Tenuta Gambarello

Located in the municipality of Mombello Monferrato, a few kilometres from Casale, Tenuta Gambarello is one of the oldest agricultural estates in the Monferrato area. A prestigious seventeenth-century complex and a fine example of rural architecture, it comprises an elegant residential building and rural constructions harmoniously connected by large courtyards and long porticos.

The residential building includes a chapel dedicated to Saint Adelaide, which was built in 1840 by Marquis Fabio Ricci di Cereseto and his wife Giulia del Carretto di Millesimo, for the wedding of their daughter Adelaide and Count Giacomo Nemours di Frassinello.

Adelaidis is also the Barbera del Monferrato Superiore wine produced by the estate today.
Since 1993, the estate has been owned by the Moscheni family, who directly manage the 140 hectares of agricultural land.
